Case # 96010
On this patient both arches were constricted but the maxilla was fine. For this reason the arches were widened with the archwires and we did not need to use a split-plate to widen the maxilla. Her total treatment time was 17 months.

Case # 96104
We had a constricted maxilla with a class III bite. The patient was treated with a split-plate (RPE) and the removal of two upper first bicuspids. After poor growth it became evident that if second bicuspids were removed the extraction space could have been closed better. The total treatment time was 30 months which was way too long. If he had been diagnosed better the treatment would not have taken so long.
