This is a Class II, Division 2 patient with a very deep overbite. The upper right lateral incisor is in position to get a lot of root resorption from negative torque if care is not taken.

When there is a Class II molar relationship or crowding, it is far easier to remove bicuspids and move the front teeth into the extraction spaces then it is to push the whole upper arch back into a Class I molar relationship.
- Widened the Mid-Palatal Suture with a Split-plate (RPE).
- Removed Upper Second Bicuspids.
- Root Resorption - Blunting at apex of upper incisors.
- Treatment Time - 16 Months including the Split-Plate (RPE).
