Case # 96101
Treating this patient without removing permanent teeth would not be an option. Removing the right teeth is key to finishing this patient quickly. Between removing the upper second bicuspids and tipping the buccal segments buccally to get out of the crossbite will give us enough room to align the remaining teeth in the upper arch. We do not need nearly as much room in the lower arch, so we removed one lower central incisor. As the space on the lower arch closes the cuspids will be rotated mesially to help take up some of the space created by closing the lower extraction space.
